Full description

This series comprises records relating to research projects covering business development, energy trading, fuel supplies, and renewable energy initiatives such as wind farms, coal seam methane gas utilization and carbon sequestration.

Major projects such as the proposed coal seam gas pipeline to the Liddell Power Station include environmental assessment reports, consultants' reports, strategies for shared use with other power generators, and records of applications/approvals to regulators to proceed with the project. Records of other projects may include project proposals, council approvals, and community consultations. 

A single number series has been imposed on the folders. The folders are titled in various patterns usually including the name and location of the project, consulting company's name, and brief description of the contents (e.g. development consent, environmental assessment, meeting notes).  The records are controlled in the agency's records management system.
