This series is the official record of the proceedings and debates of the Australasian Federation Conference held in 1890.

The bound volume has text on the cover which reads 'His Excellency The Right Honorable Lord Carrington G.C.M.G. Governor of the Colony of New South Wales'. There is further text on the spine of the volume which reads 'Australasian Federation Conference 1890'.

The Australasian Federation Conference was held in Melbourne from 6 to 14 February 1890.
