This series comprises hand written volumes which detail fires, rescues and callouts from Leura Fire Station.

The Fire Records Books are a standard, printed format with columns headed: date, time of call, by whom called, locality, occupier, business, construction, supposed cause, extinguished by, damage, attendance, in, out and total. The types of fires reported include bush fires, car fires, rubbish fires, building fires and incidents such as trapped animals. Columns for date and time are usually completed. The three columns for occupier/business/construction are often used as one and record the name of the organisation which was attended. Other column entries are often in coded form (e.g. Extinguished by '58 Station Report') or left blank.

From July 1993, Fire Record books ceased to be maintained, and occurrence books became the only incident record book.
