The National Emergency Service (NES) history files were compiled in 1981 by the State Emergency Services (SES) librarian.
The history files include official histories and ephemera. While in the custody of the SES librarian, the records were arranged into subject files which were titled and numbered. The item descriptions reflect this arrangement. The information contained in square brackets after the file title provides an inventory of the history files content.
