This volume contains typed minutes from the meetings held by the Urana and District Patriotic Committee.

The first meeting was held on June 24th 1940, which outlined the aims and objectives of the Committee, along with the functions of the various sub-committees, including the Finance Committee; Managerial Committeee; recruiting Committee and the Entertainment Committee. Office bearers were also appointed for President and Delegate; Vice Presidents; Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer.

Topics covered in the later minutes recorded in this volume include: naming those present, and apologies from those unable to attend; approving the previous minutes; correspondence received and sent; reports from the Sub-Committees, including Finance and Entertainment Committees; gifts received and given; stock lists and stock branding; petty cash balances; farewells to members leaving the Committee; reports on events held such as raffles; and War Saving Certificates awarded.
