This series contains minutes of the general and special meetings of the Lockhart Urban Committee of Lockhart Shire Council.
The Minutes were created monthly and recorded chronologically.
The proceedings of every council meeting were transcribed into a book. The general meetings record correspondence and reports received by the Committee, motions and reports to be submitted to the General Council by the Shire Clerk, Secretary and the Finance Committees, lists of accounts to be authorised, and any other relevant business. The minutes document the variety of activities for which the Committee was also responsible in the Lockhart Urban area.
