Full description

This series contains a single register titled: Register of Applications for Leases, held by the Albury Lands Office. The front of the register contains an Alphabetical Index, listing the names of the applicants by Surname and providing the number of the page upon which the details of their application is recorded within the register.

Information recorded for each application includes: Leasee; Lot; (Land Agents) Abstract Number; County; Area; Date of Payment; Residence; Rent paid; Renewal of Lease; and date pf receipt of rent. There are enough columns for eight renewals to be recorded per application. There are also written descriptions of the land applied for, including the location and the directions of the boundaries and any other properties or public reserves that the land is located beside.
