This series consists of a Grade Roll of the Public School at Narrandera East for Small Schools.

Information contained in this Grade Roll includes 'Directions for Teachers' printed on the inside of the front cover. Each folio is divided into male students on one side, and female students on the other. The pages are then divided into a Daily Report table, which can fit four weeks to a page. This includes information such as the date, class, number on roll, and the daily average attendance. The techer then signed the bottom of each page with the statement: 'I certify that this Record is Correct.'

The back section of the book is set out differently, with a title across the page which reads: 'Grade Roll for the Term ending the ___ date of ____ month 19___.' Below this is recorded the following information about each student: Register Number; Pupils name; Date of Birth; Religious Denomination. The rest of the page is divided into weeks and days to record if students were present or absent. The bottom of the page gives a Daily Report of Attendance for Boys Lower Division; Boys Upper Division; Weekly Average; Girls Lower Division; Girls Upper Division; Weekly Average; and Total Daily Attendance.
