This series consists of signed minutes and agenda papers for the meetings of the By-Laws and Regulations Committee, later known as the Ad-Hoc By-Laws and Regulations Committee, then the By-Laws Committee of Council (re-constituted) of the Mitchell College of Advanced Education.

The minutes and agendas (which also include any attachments for the meetings) are all typed and arranged in chronological order. For each meeting the minutes are first, followed by the agenda and the attachments.

The minutes document the decisions and resolutions made by the Council. The following information is contained in the minutes: the date, place and time of the meeting; those people present at the meeting; apologies from people not able to attend; information and resolutions referred to the committee for approval from other committees of the College; resolutions passed by the Council itself; any correspondence tabled at the meeting; any general business arising; and the date, place and time of the next meeting. The agendas outlined the format that the meetings followed and the matters that were to be addressed. This includes the attachments giving members attending the meeting extra information pertaining to the topics for discussion on the agenda. Both the agendas and attachments were circulated prior to the meetings.
