Full description

These cards contain any information which may affect the decisions the Committee makes regarding prisoner placement and status. Such information includes all personal details - name, date of birth, marital status, date of sentence; an educational history; an employment history; interview impressions and personal background; prisoner's stated interests and intentions; criminal record; test results (some psychological as well as basic reading, vocabulary and arithmetic); an institution record and finally the Committee's recommendation.

The cards are arranged alphabetically. The information on these cards concerns female prisoners held in the Women's Training and Detention Centre, Silverwater, State Reformatory, Women's Remand Centre and other locations.
