These registers contain a summary record of all Special Leases in the Land District of Cootamundra, kept by the Wagga Wagga Local Land Board.

An application for a Special Lease would be submitted to the Crown Land Agent, together with a deposit. Upon receipt of such an application, the Agent would forward the information to their Local Land Board, where the details of the application would be entered into this register. The entry would be given the same register number as that appointed by the Crown Land Agent.
