Full description

This register contains a record of all the pre-emptive leases in the Land District of Hillston, kept by the Hillston Crown Land Agent's Office/Hillston Lands Office.

This register records information such as name and address of leasee, number of lease, date of notification in the Government Gazette, county and parish, the area, the annual rent, the amount of rent paid, the period for which the rent is paid, the date of payment, and the folio number of the lease application register, as well as any other remarks.

The register is divided into sections for pre-emptive leases and auction leases.

The pre-emptive leases cover numbers 1876/24 – 1884/70, for the period 30/09/1881 – 03/11/1887.

The auction leases cover numbers 1881/432 – 1884/89, for the period 25/04/1881 – 29/09/1884.
