This series comprises the Missing Persons Book from the Trangie Police Station. This volume was created to record details of missing persons as reported.

The Report of Missing Persons books record the form number, location, the missing person's full name, address, date of birth, age, sex, place of birth, when they were last heard of, height, build, complexion, colour of hair and eyes, condition of teeth, race, occupation, any deformities, a description of their clothing, the name and address of the parent or inquirer, the reason for the inquiry, circumstances of their disappearance, name of the police officer in charge, the submitting station’s name and code and the time and date the person was reported missing.

The right hand part of the duplicate form was to be forwarded to the Missing Persons Section who then carried out any further circulation of the details deemed necessary.
