These registers contain a record of all approved (gazetted) Conditional Leases in the Land District of Wagga Wagga, kept by the Wagga Wagga Local Land Board.

Each entry contains information relating to the original applicant as well as subsequent transferees. The information was entered into these registers in numerical order according to the Conditional Lease Number published in the NSW Government Gazette.

The registers are titled “Conditional Leases granted under Clause 48, 52, or 54, of the Crown Lands Act of 1884 in the Land District of Wagga Wagga.

These registers record information such as the names and addresses of the Leasees, the date of application or transfer of lease, the area applied for, a description of the area applied for, the deposit and rent amounts determined, any conditions ordered by the Land Board, the Conditional Purchases to which the Lease is attached, and the issue date of Certificate of Fulfilment of Conditions.
