The records describe the activities associated with reviewing the situation of a child, young person or person with a disability or a group of such persons in care. The records relate to reviews (individual or group) of people in care, including conduct of the review and preparation of both preliminary reports and final reports to the Minister. The records also monitor the implementation of review recommendations.

The records comprise of two-ring cardboard files and loose papers, with handwritten names of individuals and organisations, dates and volume or part numbers as required, as well as an 'RV' or 'CRI' classification number.
