Full description

This series consists of the agenda and agenda papers prepared for meetings of the New South Wales Coal Compensation Board. The Board’s meetings primarily dealt with claims for compensation for the loss of private coal rights under the Coal Acquisition Act, 1981 (Act No.109, 1981).

Each agenda gives the date, time and place of the meeting, the name of the person who prepared the agenda and lists the items for discussion. Items regularly included on each agenda are: confirmation of minutes of the previous meeting, business arising from the previous meeting, general business for discussion and other business. Included with each agenda are any documents that relate to the agenda items to be discussed.

Each agenda and the related papers have been bound together to form a volume for each meeting. The meetings have been numbered and the spiral bound volumes arranged by meeting number, in chronological order.
