This series contains one volume, which is an index to the maintenance cases held at the Griffith Court House. These cases were mostly taken up against men by women who had been deserted and were entitled to maintenance for their children under the Deserted Wives and Children Act 1901-1939, the Child Welfare Act 1939 and the Maintenance Act 1964.

The index consists of cases listed by date. Each entry notes the card number, the surname of the Defendant and the Application (eg. Leave wife without support, Constructive desertion, Vary order of maintenance (or Application to vary order), Disobey order of maintenance, Application for custody of children, Leave illegitimate children without maintenance support, Preliminary expenses, etc.).
