Memoranda of Cases Committed for Trial records the date of the committal, the name of the prisoners, the nature of the offences, to what Court they are committed, whether they were admitted to Bail or not and if so then what amount and the names of sureties, the name, occupation and residence of the witnesses, and the names of Committing Magistrates and the date when the papers were sent to the Attorney General.
These volumes also contain registers of applications for auctioneers’, hawkers’ and other licenses, a list of furniture in the court house, and a list of the law books at the court house.
