The Memoranda of Cases Committed for Trial record the date of the committal, the name of the prisoners, the nature of the offences, to what Court they are committed, whether they were admitted to Bail or not and if so then what amount and the names of sureties, the name, occupation and residence of the witnesses, and the names of Committing Magistrates and the date when the papers were sent to the Attorney General.
This volume also contains a register of applications for auctioneers’, hawkers’ and other licenses, a list of furniture in the court house, and a list of the law books at the court house.
