This series is comprised of copies of Letters of Advice with Quarterly Returns sent by the District Registrar in Coolamon to the Registrar General in Sydney.

These letters contain the following statistics relating to number of entries made for births, deaths and marriages during the quarter: last number of entry made last quarter, last number of entry made this quarter, total number of entries made this quarter, number of male and female births, number of male and female deaths.

The letters also include statistics describing the amounts of forms filled out during the quarter. Such forms include: original certificates of marriage, forms of consent, declarations before the Registrar, forms of marriage before the Registrar, information of births forms, declarations of birth (after 60 days), declarations under legitimation act, information of death forms, undertakers’ certificates, certificates as to cremation and laying-in mausoleum, medical certificates of cause of death, notices of signing of medical certificate of cause of death, index cards to births, deaths and marriages, list of deaths of returned soldiers.

The return of fees received during the quarter is also included. The number of fees received for searches, certified copies and marriages and the total amounts received are recorded.
