This series comprises the Letter books of the Tamworth Rural Lands Protection Board.

The volumes are organised alphabetically according to recipient, with an index at the beginning of each volume.

These volumes comprise letterpress copies of letters sent to stockholders, suppliers and contractors relating to information and decisions made by the Board. There are many gaps in the contents of the series. A number of Letter books are missing and may not be extant.

These files were in the custody of the Tamworth Rural Lands Protection Board until 10 February 1995 when they were transferred to the Regional Archives.
