These were created by the Trust but custody of these were also transferred to the National Parks and Wildlife Services and these were subsequently maintained and added to. This series is the regional files from the Snowy Mountains Regional Office relating to the care, control, management, conservation and cultural heritage planning of Kosciusko National Park.

As these regional files were maintained in the Snowy Mountains regional office they contain a mixture of recordkeeping references that reflect the larger administrative arrangements.

The Parks and Reserves, Miscellaneous Branch of the Department of Lands transferred the custody of some records relating to the establishment of the Kosciusko State/National Park.
