Full description

These films relate chiefly to the New South Wales dairy industry.  They include: health promotional films; films dealing with dairy cattle husbandry including treatment and prevention of disease, artificial breeding and the quality control of breeding stock; quality control of the production of dairy goods; procedures to be adopted in the event of foot and mouth disease; water and pastures conservation and management; tertiary courses in, and research projects associated with the dairy industry; historical films dealing with the early settlement and decline of dairying communities; and the schools' free milk scheme. (1)

The films were shown to school children, members of the public, dairymen and veterinary students in both Sydney and country districts. (2)
