Dates included range from 1907-1957 2. Alpha system – With this system some boxes were labelled “Miscellaneous Correspondence”, others were labelled “Correspondence” followed by a letter and a year or range of years, or a description (such as Water supply 1940s). Dates ranged from the 1930s to 1970s. Each folder within each box was given a brief subject description. There appeared to be some duplication of years as in the period covered by the Alpha-Numeric system. 3. Subject system – These file boxes had no numbering or alphabetical system on the box, but a brief description of the box contents. Examples include Diaries, Water supply, or Bank passbooks.
