This series consists of a leather bound photographic album that was compiled in memory of Sir John Robertson K.C.M.G following his death in 1891.

Sir John Robertson was a politician and land reformer who played a key role in establishing The National Park (later known as Royal National Park) in 1879 and was Chairman of Trustees of The National Park. (1)

Embossed text in gold on the front cover of the album reads 'In Memory of Sir John Robertson K.C.M.G Chairman National Park 1891'.
