These sample files relate to instances where breaches of regulations under the Acts administered by the Department occur. They contain inspector's reports of particular breaches, give details of the alleged breach and provide supporting evidence.

If legal proceedings are not instituted a letter of warning is sent (copy contained in file). If legal proceedings are instituted the legal branch of the Department creates a separate record (known as Breach notes) which contains all papers associated with a particular case including relevant material from the Breach report.
