The series consists of deeds and copies of leases, relating to state coal mining activities.
Included are copies of draft leases following the sale of Oakdale State Coal Mine, plus various plans of the mine describing the area covered by the lease.
Also included in the series are signed deeds relating to the State Mines Control Authority, one covering releases from flood damage claims, and the other to cancellation of a contract for purchase of land.
