Full description

This series consists of minutes for the meetings of the School of Agriculture School Board of the Riverina College of Advanced Education (RCAE), later the Riverina-Murray Institute of Higher Education (RMIHE).

The minutes are all typed and arranged in chronological order. For each meeting the minutes are first, followed by any agendas and the attachments.

The minutes document the decisions and resolutions made by the Board. The following information is contained in the minutes: the date, place and time of the meeting; those people present at the meeting; apologies from people not able to attend; information and resolutions referred to the Board for approval from other Committees, the College/Academic Board, the Council and the Principal; resolutions passed by the Board itself; any correspondence tabled at the meeting; any general business arising; and the date, place and time of the next meeting.

The agendas, of which there are very few, outlined the format that the meetings followed and the matters that were to be addressed. This includes the attachments which gave members attending the meeting extra information pertaining to the topics for discussion on the agenda. Both the agendas and attachments were circulated prior to the meetings.
