The volumes in this series contain the record of matters discussed at staff meetings held at the Infants’ Department of Cessnock West Public School, along with copies of some material (mostly relating to curriculum matters) presented to these meetings. Matters of curriculum, discipline and the Infants’ school’s daily routine were addressed at these meetings, which were normally held at intervals of three weeks.

The portion of this series currently held consists of three volumes containing the records of staff meetings held during the years 1964-1966, one volume for each year. The accounts of the meetings are typescript copies which have been either pasted into the volumes. In 1965 and 1966, the record of each meeting has been signed by all members of staff present.
