(1) Subjects covered by this correspondence include: the conferring of the award of Knight of the Order of Australia on Sir Arthur Roden Cutler in 1981 and the subsequent amendment of his Coat of Arms (to be displayed in Government House); arrangements for office accommodation and assistance to Sir Arthur Roden Cutler after his return from overseas in 1981; arrangement for payment of accounts for the removal of Sir Arthur Roden Cutler's personal effects from storage and delivery to his new home in Bellevue Hill; and the erroneous payment of personal accident insurance for Sir Arthur Roden and Lady Cutler, after his retirement as Governor. These files and papers are generally arranged in chronological order, although some of the files are arranged by subject. These files and papers record the events including openings, luncheons, dinners, and receptions that the Governor was involved with, and reference material for the Office of the Governor.

Subjects covered by the files include arrangements for official functions such as invitations, protocol information, schedules for events, briefs, speeches, menu plans, seating plans and thank you notes.
