This series comprises of reports commissioned or otherwise acquired by the agency. These cover surveys of proposed power stations and transmission lines on land owned by the Pacific Power, throughout New South Wales. These records, illustrated with number of photographs, maps and plans contain reports about test excavation, archaeological surveys and salvage works associated with the proposed transmission lines projects; assessments and conservation plans of heritage significance on historical sites including Aboriginal history and heritage for protection and conservation; industrial heritage studies and conservation management strategy of power generation with registers; flora and fauna surveys at environmentally sensitive areas with rare and threatened Australian plants and pilot wildlife management projects.This series formed part of the 'Pacific Power Heritage Collection'. The series in this collection were valued because they documented vital aspects of the history of power generation, supply and transmission in New South Wales.
