The purpose of this series was to record details of the Shire of Waugoola receiptsbooks and license forms. The receipt books apepear to have been general receipt books, rate and sanitary receipt books. The licence forms were for vehicle of driver's licenses and cattle slaughtering licences. The purpose of the series was to enable checking the validity of a receipt or license,.
This record contains the following information: date of order for books, order number, number of books ordered, date of receipt, printer’s account voucher number, receipt book number, the receipt numbers included in the books, date issued, initials of person to whom issued, auditors notes and remarks.
