This series consists of audio cassettes, videos, floppy discs, slides, film reels, photographs with negatives and records produced by the NSW Film and Television office for the Department of Education and Training. The role of the series was to assist in the continuous training of teachers and other staff. These audio-visual materials focus of emerging issues in education and society and on new methods of dealing with issues of concern for teachers.
Topics on video consist of: Equal Employment Opportunity, methods of teaching adult literacy, integration of students with intellectual disabilities, teacher learning difficulties and literacy.
Other topics also include: Certificate in Spoken and Written English, student performances of oral competencies, identity, cultural and conflict educating for cultural diversity, reconciliation convention and interviewing skills for systems analysis. Some of the videos are labelled 'supertext' and some 'subtitled'.
The items contain a separate letter prefix for each format. For example, OX: promotional video, VT: videos and F: film reels.
