Full description

This series consists of reference material collected by the New South Wales Electoral Office pertaining to, or informing the running of elections in New South Wales. Many of the records have been annotated or marked. The material dates from 1893-1927 and includes reports from the NSW Legislative Assembly containing election petition minutes of evidence. There are also reports listing parishes and describing electoral districts. Reports produced by the British government that document the electoral process in New South Wales (and other colonial territories) can also be found in this series. The material has been contained in leather binders and is arranged in chronological order.
