The Wagga Wagga Teachers College Chronicle documents the historical development and major milestones of the college, beginning in 1946 (before the college was opened), and ending in 1970, prior to the closure of the College.Each year’s major events are delineated in the following categories:
a) Developments: detailing both the physical and professional development of the college. The former dealing primarily with new buildings and grounds, whilst the latter focussed on students, and prizes and awards won.
b) Personalities: concentrated on staff movements both internally and externally.
c) Visitors: listed the important visitors and guests to the college and the relevant significance of their visit or event attended. This section also included inter-collegiate visits.
d) Cultural Life: was divided into three sections including, dramatic productions, musical productions and literary productions.
e) Sporting: listed the major sporting results and achievements for the year.
f) Community Contacts: included news on ‘Open Days’, and any joint ventures with the community that involved the college or its staff or students. For example, involvement with clubs, religious groups and charitable organisations.
