The guidelines contain a contents page and appendices which set out details of the effects of subsidence upon transmssion lines and roads, measures which can be taken to minimise the effects of subsidence and case studies. These guidelines for coal leaseholders, road construction and power transmission authorities were produced as reference tools with in intension of assisting the construction of infrastructure which reduces the impact of mine subsidence. The guidelines were produced by the Mines Subsidence Board in association with other intested New South Wales agencies including the Roads and Traffic Authority, Coal Operations Australia Limited, the Department of Mineral Resources, the Department of Urban Affairs and Planning, the NSW Minerals Council, Transgrid adn other power supply authorities.
