These are the papers of the daily proceedings of the Local Court. This Court's jurisdiction covered lesser serious criminal matters and minor civil complaints. Monthly proceedings of the Justice of the Peace (JP's) Court are also included.

The documents included on the files may contain: charge and summons sheets, statements of evidence, warrants, interview transcriptions, records of proceedings, bail undertakings, notices of appeal and sworn statements.

Papers are in folders labelled by date and place and tied into bundles at one corner. A list of cases appears in the front of each folder detailing charge cases and summons cases. The list also includes Children's Court cases.
