This series of files contains correspondence and papers created and accumulated by the Circular Quay Supervisory Committee and the Department of Railways. These files concern the construction and operation of Circular Quay Railway Station, facilities, matters concerning adjoining businesses, roadways, wharves, other local infrastructure and associated services.

Included are: newspaper clippings, parliamentary debates, minutes from the Circular Quay Supervisory Committee meetings, engineering plans (from 1926 onwards).
There are some gaps in the numerical sequence of files.
