This album consists of photographs and press cuttings of the official handover of Dennis fire appliances to the New South Wales Board of Fire Commissioners. There are photographs of the new fire trucks, official speeches, and demonstrations of the new equipment by firemen. All photographs, except the last, have brief descriptions.

Included are press clippings from the 'Daily Telegraph' and 'The Sun' reporting the day's events and an article from the 'Clyde News', a publication of Clyde Industries. A member of the Clyde Consortium, Westeels Industries Limited built the new fire engines.

Included in the album is a brief description of the handover, a programme of the day's events, a menu, and lists of television and radio stations who reported the handover. Also included is an article from wheels magazine about the new fire trucks.

This series appears to have been maintained by the Board of Fire Commissioners after being received from Westeels Industries Ltd to commemorate the handing over ceremony.
