These volumes record moneys held in trust by the Aborigines Protection Board for Aboriginal people, apparently those under apprenticeship. The following information is recorded, the individuals name, credit and debit columns which detail moneys in and out of the account, interest, date of the transaction and the balance of the account. Occasionally there are annotations on the pages, including who the person was working for or apprenticed to, when the person finished their apprenticeship, and when and where they died. It is arranged alphabetically under the name of the individuals concerned; and the name of the person to whom they are apprenticed is frequently noted.
