Full description

This record occupies a few pages at the back of the volume. It consists of four separate Returns of Crown Lands sold in the Colony for various periods between the above dates. Shows place and date of sale, number of acres sold, purchase money, average price, and whether the land was a town allotment. There are, in addition, two abstracts of the above returns, each showing name of district, number of persons occupying stations, estimated extent of stations, acreage under cultivation, number of persons in each district (male/female, free/bond), details of stock, and amount of assessment.
