Letters addressed to the Collector of Internal Revenue (appointed 1827) concerning financial matters, eg. fines collected at the Courts of Magistrates and Police Offices; fees and fines received by Commissioners; Fees on Duplicate Tickets of Leave accompanying bills; acknowledgement and receipt of Bonds and Promissory Notes.After 1836, letters are addressed to the Colonial Treasurer, through whom they were forwarded to the Revenue Branch which superseded the Collector of Internal Revenue.
