This volume contains copies of indentures and other legal documents dated from 17 October 1709 to 24 May 1739. It may have been used as a working record in an official or private context, or compiled for use as precedent. A number of the documents mention the County of Essex.
There is a partial contents list at the back of the volume.
It appears this volume was brought to the Colony of New South Wales from England, possibly by the Judge Advocate or another legal official.
