These are copies of letters sent by Alfred Elyard, Chief Clerk of the Supreme Court Office (also including several sent by the Prothonotary and Registrar, G.P.F. Gregory). The volume consists of letters of a routine nature regarding repairs to Supreme Court premises, taking of court transcripts and proceedings, covering letters accompanying returns of prisoners tried and convicted at Circuit Courts, and commissions to appoint magistrates and attorneys.
