The volumes show, where applicable, for each civil cause instituted: the registration number of the cause, names of litigants, date of issue of summons (or date of issue of warrant to arrest), date on which summons (or, alternatively warrant) returnable, nature of the action (eg. promises, debt etc.) amount of damages claimed, names and descriptions of bail (names of sureties, amount of bail), date exception entered, date of defendant's appearance, and dates declaration, plea, demurrer, replication and rejoinder are filed in the Supreme Court Office.
