This series contains the minutes of meetings of the State Planning Authority and of various committees (management, planning, property, staff advisory etc.), and reports of the Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Secretary, Chief Planner, Deputy Planner, Solicitors and other advisors employed by, or associated with, the Authority. There is an index to minutes in the front of each volume.

This series is a continuation of the State Planning Authority: Cumberland County Council's Minutes and Reports, Nov 1945-May 1964 (NRS 13384, 11/15131-70). It is continued in the New South Wales Planning and Environment Commission: Minutes and Reports, Nov 1974-Aug 1980 (NRS 10922, 11/15216-57)
