This bundle consists of a mimeographed copy of a letter from the Director of Civil Defence to the Chief Secretary requesting clarification of the Government's civil defence policy. Attached to the letter is an Annex which outlines the tasks and difficulties faced by the Civil Defence Organisation. The bundle also includes a press release outlining briefly Cabinet policy towards civil defence as well as a carbon copy of the letter and annexure.
