These files reflect the functions of the administrative section and the several units and committees of the Council.

The files include correspondence received and copies of letters sent; notices and reports; requests from individuals and public bodies for advice; information on public awareness and education; fund-raising; samples of foundations and bequests; and details of the Council's trust funds and investments.

Research into cancer is well documented by the inclusion of files relating to applications for grants.
