Full description
This series comprises a review of the Sydney Opera House construction project completed by Hall, Todd and Littlemore (architects). In May 1966, following the resignation of Jørn Utzon, Hall, Todd and Littlemore, in association with the Government Architect, began an examination of the various sections of the Sydney Opera House and the function and usage for which they were originally intended. In their "Review of Programme", Hall, Todd and Littlemore, suggested that major changes in the proposed use of a number of areas in the Opera House could advantageously be made. The major issue raised was whether the Major Hall was to be constructed as a concert hall or as a multi-purpose hall. (4/8003). 1 vol.
