These returns are for Hobart and Port Dalrymple, and they record more information than the mainland returns. In all of the volumes the following information is given: name, grant or lease, by whom granted, leased or located; number of acres in wheat, barley, peas or beans, potatoes; total number of acres held, number of horses, male and female; horned cattle, male and female; sheep, male and female; grain on hand in bushels - wheat and barley; victualled or not victualled from the public stores - proprietor, wife, children, government servants; number of free men employed; total number in family, remarks.
